ATHENS NOISE | Οι αρχικές ημερομηνίες του μεγάλου γαστρονομικού φεστιβάλ άλλαξαν λόγω των ακραίων καιρικών φαινομένων
Στην Αθήνα έρχεται για πρώτη φορά ένα από τα κορυφαία γαστρονομικά φεστιβάλ στον κόσμο και παρουσιάζει την ελίτ της ελληνικής εστιατορικής σκηνής. Πρόκειται για το Taste of Athens, που διοργανώνεται σε περισσότερες από είκοσι μεγάλες μητροπόλεις του πλανήτη, όπως το Λονδίνο, η Νέα Υόρκη, το Παρίσι, το Μιλάνο, το Ντουμπάι, το Μαϊάμι, το Λος ‘Αντζελες, το Χονγκ Κονγκ κ.ά., και για πρώτη φορά στην Αθήνα, αποτέλεσμα της επίτευξης πενταετούς συνεργασίας της πλατφόρμας Taste Festivals με την Toposophy.
Ξεκινάει σήμερα Κυριακή 30.09. Αρχικά επρόκειτο να διεξαχθεί από τις 27 έως τις 30 Σεπτεμβρίου 2018, στο ξέφωτο του Κέντρου Πολιτισμού Ίδρυμα Σταύρος Νιάρχος, ωστόσο με ανακοίνωση τους οι διοργανωτές μετέθεσαν τις ημερομηνίες από σήμερα Κυριακή 30.09 έως και την Τρίτη 02.10. Πρεμιέρα λοιπόν απόψε με γκεστ σεφ τον Σωτήρη Κοντιζά.
Ειδικότερα, για τέσσερις ημέρες, δέκα από τα κορυφαία αθηναϊκά εστιατόρια (κάποια εξ αυτών βραβευμένα με αστέρια Michelin) θα εγκαταστήσουν ειδικά διαμορφωμένα κιόσκια, σερβίροντας ειδικό μενού γευσιγνωσίας με μερικά από τα signature πιάτα τους σε προνομιακές τιμές σε μια μεγάλη γαστρονομική γιορτή που αποτυπώνει ιδανικά την ανάδυση της Αθήνας ως σημαντικού διεθνούς γαστρονομικού προορισμού.
Παράλληλα, στον ειδικά διαμορφωμένο χώρο του ΚΠΙΣΝ, οι επισκέπτες θα έχουν την ευκαιρία να έχουν άμεση επαφή, να μαγειρέψουν και να αλληλεπιδράσουν τόσο με τους ίδιους τους συμμετέχοντες όσο και με διεθνούς φήμης σεφ, να συμμετέχουν σε γευσιγνωσίες, σε σεμινάρια παρασκευής κοκτέιλ από γνωστούς mixologists, καθώς και να περιηγηθούν στα περίπτερα των κορυφαίων food & beverage προμηθευτών και Ελλήνων παραγωγών.
Όπως δήλωσε ο Justin Clarke, o επικεφαλής του γαστρονομικού τμήματος της IMG, της διοργανώτριας εταιρίας των Taste Festivals, «το Taste of Athens είναι το πιο πρόσφατο φεστιβάλ που γίνεται μέλος της οικογένειας των Taste Festivals. Όντας 15 χρόνια το κορυφαίο γαστρονομικά γεγονός στον κόσμο, το Taste πάντα προσπαθεί να προσφέρει έμπνευση στους ανθρώπους που αγαπούν το φαγητό, το ποτό και τα εστιατόρια. Ξεκινώντας από το Λονδίνο και αφού έχουμε εξαπλωθεί σε όλο τον πλανήτη με συνολικά 21 φεστιβάλ, στην Ρώμη, στο Σάο Πάολο, στο Σίδνεϊ, το ‘Αμστερνταμ και στο Παρίσι, είμαστε ευτυχείς που προσθέτουμε και την Αθήνα στην πλατφόρμα μας.
